Chapter One Foundation with support from the American Bar Association collaborated with Governance, Elections, Advocacy, Research Services (GEARS) Initiative Zambia to conduct postelection review meetings with election monitors in the hope that information gathered from these meetings would inform election advocacy leading up to the 2026 national elections. The post- election review meetings were held in the ten provincial capitals and brought together selected election monitors, journalists, community leaders, religious leaders, NGOs/CSOs and political parties to review the three main stages of the electoral process/cycle namely, preelection, during election and post-election environments. The meetings intended to document the experiences, successes and challenges encountered during the 12th August 2021 General Election with attendees also providing suggestions and recommendations for more efficient and transparent elections.
